Harris Farm Markets Cooks Hill
Client: Harris Farm Markets
Project value: AU$5.5 million

Located in Cooks Hill, this is the first major flagship store to be completed outside of the Sydney metro area. The project involved the completion of 3 stages; the initial demolition & site remediation, enabling works and the construction & fitout. TSA were engaged to manage the final stage and successfully deliver the project.

Our assignment brief included the Head Contractor’s Stage 3 variation evaluation and execution, end-to-end contract administration, stakeholder management involving; design consultants, the landlord, future tenants, council, and Harris Farm management.

The final two months of the Head Contractor’s program saw full-time attendance on-site. This was to ensure site interaction with the Head Contractor and Harris Farm contractor’s did not impact the program delivery, as well as maintaining a safe work environment.

The site began as two separate properties with existing buildings. The main building where the Harris Farm Market now operates is over 100 years old, starting life as a wool store. Harris Farm embraced the heritage by showcasing original features such as exposed timber trusses and an original wool bale crane still perched in the ceiling (unfortunately no longer in use). The completed store consists of a fresh produce section of fruits & vegetables, an onsite butchery, a seafood market, an onsite bakery, a café, as well as sections dedicated to nuts, herbs, eggs and cheese.
