The Wagga Wagga Hospital redevelopment was managed directly by NSW Health Infrastructure, rather than via the typical external project management consultancy model. TSA was appointed to assist Health Infrastructure with improving internal reporting and controls processes for the project. In doing so, we provided a dedicated resource that was embedded in the NSW Health Infrastructure internal project team.
This specialist resource assisted the local health district to plan and drive the hospital commissioning processes. As Operational Commissioning Manager, TSA was responsible for organisational change, operational readiness, and business continuity planning culminating in the decant and operationalisation of the new hospital in early 2016.
