BaptistCare’s $250 million Vertical Village at Macquarie Park includes a 96-bed residential aged care facility (RACF) and 150 independent living units (ILUs) in a vertical arrangement. It will use clever design to foster a village-like lifestyle and create a strong sense of community.
The development includes a wellness centre for residents and the public, with a 15m hydrotherapy pool, 19m lap pool and gym. It also incorporates retail, community facilities, administration, and associated parking and services areas.
The vertical village and masterplan projects are now progressing as State Significant Developments. TSA is providing project management services to BaptistCare and the consultant team, helping to progress the lodgement. The Master Plan will guide the long-term renewal of the site, establishing a framework for delivering the elements needed to create a vibrant and connected community.
