Aged Care

Romani Residential Aged Care Facility
Client: RSL Care SA

72 bed RACF

The Romani Project involves the design and construction of a $23 million, 72-bed Residential Aged Care Facility in Murray Bridge South Australia, Adjacent to the existing Waterford Estate Retirement Village, the design has rooms that allow for individual residencies with private ensuites, and  “double” rooms which will accommodate couples. The design also incorporates a cafe, hairdresser, allied health support and doctor’s rooms, along with separate resident dining areas in each wing and a central activities area for major events and entertainment.

TSA’s role has been to manage the development through design, planning and then delivery. We have worked with the client and design team to ensure the design reflects the brief, and budget constraints without compromising on how RSL Care will service residents. Our role has involved design management, procurement and delivery management.

Construction commenced in mid-2021, with the facility expected to employ approximately 80 staff when it opens in early 2023.
