40% reduction of embodied carbon by 2030

Sime Darby Properties (SDP) is the largest land bank holder in Malaysia. They are property developers (they are a co-developer of Battersea Power Station in London and have developments in Singapore) and own and operate golf courses, shopping centres and a convention centre.

SDP’s ambition is in line with World Green Building Council and would like to lessen 40% of their embodied carbon by 2030 and become a leader in building sustainable communities.

TSA’s estimated the embodied carbon emission for SDP’s typical 20’ x 70’ double storey terrace home. Using this data, TSA developed a reduction roadmap to help SDP make informed decisions and prioritise actions they should take to reduce their embodied carbon by 2030.

The win is a result of strong client relationships which helped the team identify this opportunity plus great teamwork and support from our Victorian office.  One Advisory and Collaboration at its best!
