TSA (as Cequent) delivered a resort expansion project in Niue, on behalf of the New Zealand & Niuean Governments.
TSA Projects engaged for this first project in the Pacific Islands. Scenic Hotels brought us in to assist them with a major expansion project for the premier resort on the island of Niue. The project delivered a new two-storey accommodation block, conference facility, kitchen expansion and services building, along with associated walkways, services, and landscaping.
This project provided real challenges in terms of planning and logistics given that the island does not have the resources to supply the materials and labour needed for an expansion of this size. All specialist labour and materials were delivered ex-Auckland and a lot of time went into ensuring that site progress would not be delayed due to missing or late supply of materials.
Despite several challenges and required changes to meet the island environment, the project was delivered on time and within budget and continues to be a real asset for the hotel and the wider Niuean community.
