Cromwell Property Group have developed a new 30,400m² office building at the Tuggeranong Office Park for the Department of Social Services (DSS) national headquarters who entered into an Agreement for Lease (AFL) for the new building. TSA were engaged to assist Cromwell and their design team to prepare a response to DSS’ approach to open market. When Cromwell were selected as the preferred tenderer, TSA provided commercial advisory assistance with negotiations to finalise the AFL, with further assistance provided throughout the design and construction phase.
The building comprised of four above ground levels of office accommodation, a dedicated conference facility, breakout areas throughout the building, a commercial café, basement car park, specialised storages facilities and various modern amenities for including bicycle storage, end of trip facilities and outdoor recreation areas. DSS’ fitout was integrated into the design and construction of the building.
Administration and compliance with the AFL required strong collaboration and attention to detail with construction completed ahead of the program dates.
