New Zealand Promotions, 2020

TSA is delighted to announce a number of recent well-deserved promotions within our New Zealand offices.  At TSA we always like to celebrate and acknowledge people within our team who offer consistently excellent project management services to our clients and who, as individuals promote TSA’s core values collaboration, excellence and integrity in all they do.  Our recent promotions have been made in recognition of people who do all that AND who have demonstrated to us through their performance and delivery that they are ready to step up to the next level within their project management career with TSA.

Please join us in congratulating the following on their promotions:

Gemma Wilson > Associate, Auckland – Gemma joined the TSA team in 2013, bringing with her design flair (from her architecture background) and a wealth of project management experience gained in the UK and the Middle East. She is a member of the Auckland Leadership Team and has Sector Lead involvement across Government, Local Government, Hospitality, Arts and Culture sectors with a strong drive and commitment to business development. Gemma is currently working on various roles with SkyCity, working with Auckland Council on the Southern Hub project, assisting Auckland Museum with future works, and most recently delivered The Hotel Britomart for Cooper and Company.

Andrew Ward > Associate, Auckland – Andrew joined TSA four years ago, offering significant civil construction experience across earthworks, horizontal infrastructure, roading, site works and structures experience. This experience has been invaluable in helping us deliver key infrastructure projects and win new projects. Andrew is a member of the Auckland Leadership Team and is Sector Lead for Utilities and Residential sectors. He has recently worked on the Auranga Development in Drury, the Foodstuffs Distribution Centre at Auckland International Airport and he is currently providing project management services to Watercare on a new wastewater project.

Mike Peters > Senior Project Manager, Auckland– Mike is an experienced project manager who joined TSA in 2018.  He previously worked in the education sector on university projects for Auckland University of Technology and had also spent six years in a property management role.  He is currently the client-side project manager for the Holiday Inn Express and Voco Hotels project, a 39- level, 494-room hotel tower for a dual hotel brand development in Auckland.

Sanjay Prasad > Senior Project Manager, Auckland – Sanjay offers 15 years’ project management experience across New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. He joined the TSA team in 2019, quickly taking up a secondment role to Auckland International Airport in a Development Manager capacity for the $30 million Ministry for Primary Industries Arrivals project. He is currently working on several Kāinga Ora residential and urban development projects across the Auckland region.

Déan Van Deventer > Project Manager, Auckland – Since joining the TSA team in 2018, Déan has worked on a variety of exciting projects, including Auckland Council’s Downtown Public Space project and the Foodstuffs Distribution Centre at Auckland Airport. He is currently the Project Manager and Engineer’s Representative Assistant for the Mercure Hotel (Hotel 4) project, a new 144-room, 3.5-star hotel at Auckland International Airport.

Cynthia Yuan > Project Manager, Auckland – Cynthia joined the team in 2018, bringing several years of project management and architectural experience from NZ and China. She has worked on several award-winning and high profile projects, including the NZ Institute for Plant & Food Research’s Hamilton and Cunningham Facilities and the Smales Farm B:Hive project. She is currently working with Mike Peters on the Holiday Inn Express and Voco Hotels project.
