Congrats to our Australian Projects people!

Well deserved promotions have been given within our Australian Projects team. Congratulations to you all, and we look forward to your continued growth and leadership with TSA.

James Thompson > Project Director, Sydney – James builds strong relationships with his clients and stakeholders, leading by example to create a positive project environment. With strong commercial experience working on new builds and fitouts, James is now working on the luxury One Sydney Park residential development. He provides strong leadership and mentoring to junior members of TSA’s Property team.

Robert McKnight > Project Director, Sydney – Rob has extensive experience on new builds and in the ‘live’ built and operational environment across health, education, commercial and retail. Currently leading projects for our education team, Rob enjoys sharing his knowledge with junior team members, helping them to grow their skills. Robs’ expertise with SSDAs has achieved fast approvals for our clients.

Nicholas Blaber > Senior Project Manager, Sydney – Nick is a confident and dynamic project manager with a technical engineering background in the Royal Australian Navy. He has a degree in Finance and Economics and is currently completing his MBA at the University of Sydney. A team player, Nick has a strong work ethic and 8 years’ experience on multimillion-dollar Defence developments and transport projects.

Benjamin Chen > Senior Project Manager, Sydney – Ben is experienced across the infrastructure and building sectors having worked across various rail, road and mixed-used building projects. He has a deep understanding of construction, design, procurement and contracts management. Ben brings a pragmatic approach to managing the delivery of projects, working with various stakeholders and clients to ensure an aligned best for project outcome.

Damien Backshall > Senior Project Manager, Sydney – Damien has extensive experience in the construction industry as a Project Manager and Structural Engineer. He has worked across various market sectors and from small to large-scale projects. Damien worked in our Education team, where he delivered numerous new schools and significant school upgrades. He is now involved in the One Sydney Park luxury residential development project.

Anthony Soklaridis > Senior Project Manager, Newcastle – Anthony specialises in the delivery phase of projects in the Hunter and Central Coast region. Drawing on his frontline building experience, Anthony excels in managing stakeholders and employs strong negotiation and mediation skills to resolve conflict, manage expectations and minimise the impacts of disruption. He continues to deliver the best outcomes and results for his clients.

Nicola Carcary > Project Manager, Newcastle – Nicola moved from Newcastle to Wee Waa in regional NSW to work on an urgent and sensitive project for School Infrastructure NSW. Undeterred by the project’s ambitiously fast-tracked timeline, Nicola has built strong relationships with the school community. The new Wee Waa High School offers a unique opportunity for rural students, giving them future opportunities to enter the workforce by starting trade qualifications.

Craig Otero > Project Manager, Adelaide – Craig joined TSA as Project Officer for the SA Dept. of Infrastructure and Transport. He helped deliver major resurfacing projects across metropolitan Adelaide as part of a $50 million stimulus package.  Craig’s next role was Project Lead, delivering a $20 million package of resurfacing works. He is proud of his achievements over the last year and is looking forward to continuing to provide quality outcomes for his clients.

Sam Hui > Project Manager, Sydney – Sam is working on the Cockle Bay Wharf project, where his technical, stakeholder management and collaboration skills allow him to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes for all. He is highly enthusiastic and motivated to provide consistent and professional services to his clients. He has experience working closely with a range of stakeholders to ensure buildability, functionality and a cost-effective approach to project delivery is maintained.

Emma Lind > Assistant Project Manager, Newcastle – Emma joined the TSA team while completing her degree in construction management. She has worked on several education projects in the Hunter and Central Coast region and is now working on a new international terminal within Newcastle Airport. Emma is responsive and adaptable and values the opportunity to learn from her colleagues to meet project goals.

Paige Webley > Assistant Project Manager, Sydney – Paige is a passionate and dedicated engineering student with strong leadership, problem-solving and communication skills. She is part of TSA’s Integrated Project Team on the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPA) Redevelopment. This project will allow RPA to continue to be one of Australia’s premier tertiary referral hospitals and achieve excellence in healthcare, research and innovation.
