2023 NAIDOC Week webinar: For Our Elders: positive impact planning.
Dr Therese Flapper, the Chair of TSA’s ESG Steering Committee, will host a panel comprising:
- Dr Kath Butler, Head of Institute, Wollotuka Institute, The University of Newcastle,
- Dr Heather Kember, Assistant Director – Strategy, Institute for Regional Futures, The University of Newcastle, and
- Phil Ahmat, Director Indigenous Engagement, Yarning Pty Ltd.
The 2023 NAIDOC Week theme is ‘For Our Elders’.
Within this theme, the panel will address the broad ideas of ‘growing ourselves, growing accountability and growing relationships’. They will discuss inclusive planning, and how we can respectfully partner and build trusted and transparent relationships with Indigenous Australian Elders and communities.
