Uniting Communities Pitt Street, Adelaide Redevelopment

20 Storey Mixed-Use Building
21 specialist disability accommodation apartments
6 Green Star

As a complex multi-faceted development, the project construction included an 18-level multi-function tower block which has become Adelaide CBD’s premier social and community services hub with a mixture of retail, community arts and cultural space, specialist accommodation, commercial facilities and public access areas.

The project objective included a place for people, a community as well as a place to live or work. Supporting State Government initiatives, the area was revitalised with direct access to the market precinct through a rejuvenated laneway and public use foyer.

A key element of this project was the significant transformation of the Uniting Communities business as it prepares to own and manage this significant structure, and the multiplicity of function it will offer.

Gary Neave was the Project Director responsible for managing the delivery of this project. He was a member of the client executive team by providing business leadership to support the relocation, reconfiguration and cultural shift to transition Uniting Communities to a new home. ProManage also had a lead role in the concept development, delivery methodology and providing a governance framework to support the Board and Redevelopment Steering Committee.
