This project was established to manage road congestion and improve travel times and reliability to Sydney’s south-west. TSA is providing project management support as part of an integrated team for this strategic motorway project and its workstreams.
Working with Transport for New South Wales (TfNSW) and Roads and Maritime Services (RMS), TSA’s role included managing the development and production of business cases for the project and coordinating inputs from the integrated project team and its workstreams. Options were identified to create viable alternatives for the motorway along the F6 and A6 road corridors. In addition, TSA managed the detailed technical, financial and economic appraisal of these options. TSA supported the management of project controls including costs, risk registers and reports, and developed the project management plan and schedule for the project.
Project support was also provided for the procurement of contractors for numerous services including: cost estimation, stakeholder engagement, feasibility analysis, risk analysis, technical writers, value management, and the preparation and management of tender documentation.
