Forrestfield-Airport Link (FAL) was a WA State Government Project to extend Perth’s rail services to eastern suburbs. The Project comprised of construction of 15 km of Tunnels, three new train stations named Redcliffe, Airport Central and High Wycombe stations with complete building fit outs, 12 cross passages, 3 emergency egress shafts, car parking areas and other amenities. The $1.86 billion METRONET Forrestfield-Airport Link is jointly funded by the Australian and Western Australian governments and has delivered a new rail service to the eastern suburbs of Perth – with three new stations at Redcliffe, Airport Central and High Wycombe.

TSA was engaged with PTA’s FAL project team to provide Project Controls services including

·       Project Schedule management, progress analysis, including development and maintaining the Integrated Master Schedule

·       Project cost management, change management, budget updates, handling variations, preparing forecasts

·       Preparing and updating project weekly and monthly reports and dashboards

·       Risk Management, maintaining and updating the risk register and facilitating risk workshops

The TSA team providing project controls services was deployed for over four years at FAL Project office  until completion of key construction work. The TSA team fulfilled the PTA’s Project Management Framework (PMF) requirement in providing the schedule management and other services.
