Belconnen High School Modernisation
Client: ACT Government
Project value: $20 million

The modernisation of Belconnen High School was the final stage in a series of progressive upgrades to the school’s buildings and grounds. The works were designed to extend the building life and provided improvements in environmental sustainability. The new spaces also facilitated a shift in the shift in schools the approach to pedagogy and futureproofed the school for expected growth in enrolment numbers.

Our previous experience as principals authorised person role and inhouse systems covering WHS, compliance, insurance, and financial management were vital to the success of the project.

TSA was instrumental in ensuring the smooth handover of stages through a consultative approach. Understanding and implementing the requirements of both the contractor and the school. The works were undertaken in a live operational environment under a two-phase GC21 contract, with a staged approach to completion, handover, and occupation of new spaces.
