Our strong PCA presence

A big congratulations to our team members accepted on various Property Council of Australia (PCA) committees for 2019/2020. With 3,043 nominations for committees received country-wide by the PCA this year, we are proud to be a part of Australia’s biggest advocacy group for the property industry.

Five of our team in Canberra will be joining ACT PCA committees, with Bruce Henry and Marko Osti on the Economic Development and Infrastructure Committee, Paul Middleton the Diversity Committee, Hayley Bowyer the Future Directions and Events Committee and Kate Mason the Planning and Residential Committee. Sue Folliott from our Brisbane office will be joining the Gold Coast Committee, Jamie Graham from our Newcastle office has been accepted on the Hunter Future Directions Committee and Jodie Drysdale from Newcastle office is part of the PCA Hunter Chapter Committee. TSA Director, Andrew Tompson has been nominated to stay on the NSW Division Commercial Office Committee.

Talking on our involvement with the PCA Andrew says, “The Property Council continues to provide valuable support to industry and promote quality property outcomes and strong communities, and TSA is very pleased to assist with these committee memberships. Our staff are delighted to be selected and look forward to an exciting couple of years.”

We also congratulate Jonathon Simmons, Christine Niu, Nick Ockleshaw and Roger Strong from our Melbourne office who have been accepted into the 2019 Property Council Mentoring Program. Jonathon and Christine will be participating as mentees and Nick and Roger as mentors. Madeleine Steele will continue in her role as a member of the Mentoring Program Advisory Board. Madeleine and Roger have been involved in the Mentoring Program Committee for several years, it’s great to hear this legacy will continue.

We look forward to helping to shape the industry’s future by working with the PCA on their key programs of work. Congratulations team! We can’t wait to hear all about the great work you are doing through the committee activities.
