Diversity by design
At TSA, our vision for the Group Board centres around assembling a diversity of skills and life experiences, to support new ways of driving the direction of the business. The introduction of non-executive members to our Group Board in 2018 brought in skills beyond our project management industry, and the benefits to the business have been immeasurable. Continuing this theme, we are excited to welcome two new members to our existing Group Board, Dori Petrides and Mark Hays.
Dori and Mark bring diverse knowledge and expertise to the existing team, with complementary skills that will contribute to the Board’s strategic decision making and our continued growth.
Dori first joined us in June 2018, in our newly formed role of General Manager – People & Culture. With over 20 years of experience working with executive teams, both in Australia and the UK, Dori is well positioned to drive the people and culture agenda for our business, through the development and implementation of HR strategies that support our strategic business goals.
Dori’s initial appointment was central to our Strategic Plan, targeting business growth by focusing our efforts on our people who deliver our project management services. Dori’s selection on the Group Board now strengthens this focus further.
On the appointment and her focus as a new Board member, Dori shared, “I’m really excited about this opportunity to work closely with the Group Board to help drive our business success. My position on the Group Board is also a clear symbol that as a business we are genuinely focused on our people.”
We’re also pleased to welcome Dori as our first female member of the Board, reflecting our genuine interest and commitment to gender diversity. We want to continue to grow our diversity at all levels of the business.
Mark has over 20 years’ experience working for both privately owned and ASX listed businesses in various sectors including Professional Services, Health, Technology, Financial Services and Hospitality.
A Chartered Accountant, Mark brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in guiding businesses in strategic planning and execution of their growth agenda. He has been involved in M&A activities, leading and developing high performing teams as well as ensuring reporting frameworks are in place to drive business growth and performance.
Since joining TSA in 2018, Mark has played a key role in executing M&A activities, as we joined with two independent project management consultancies, New Zealand based Xigo, and Canberra based Xact. With his wealth of experience and diverse contributions, Mark’s appointment to the Group Board reinforces the business’ commitment to future growth and scalability.
Mark commented on his appointment, “I am thrilled to have the opportunity to support the business in this new capacity through the Group Board. Joining TSA last year and helping to guide the future direction of the business is exciting. I am looking forward to partnering with all areas of our business to ensure TSA is a successful and scalable global business.”
