Delivering ARTC Inland Rail’s transaction management services

TSA, together with its partners RPS, Flagstaff Consulting, and MBB Group, is delighted to announce our appointment by the Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC) to provide transaction management services across the Inland Rail program.

Inland Rail is a 1,700km fast freight backbone from Melbourne to Brisbane that will transform how we move goods around Australia. It will better link businesses, farmers and producers to national and global markets and generate new opportunities for industries and regions. Comprising 13 individual projects, Inland Rail is the largest freight rail infrastructure project in Australia and one of the most significant infrastructure projects in the world.

TSA CEO Andrew Wilson commented: “We are delighted to continue our relationship with Inland Rail for the next stages of the program. TSA Management is pleased to be working with RPS, Flagstaff and MBB and we look forward to applying our deep experience of major rail projects to this truly nation-building program.”

RPS Chief Executive Officer, Ross Thompson, said RPS and their partners are fully committed to the successful delivery of what will be a game-changing project for the freight and supply chain industry.

“With our partners, RPS is pleased to bring our deep expertise and experience working on complex rail and transport infrastructure projects to this once in a generation project,” Thompson said.

“RPS, Flagstaff Consulting and TSA Management have been working with the Inland Rail team for the last four years, and with MBB Group, bring a track record of integrating and developing a true partnership with our clients, on complex projects.”

Shane McDowall, Executive Advisor in RPS’ advisory practice said the appointment would bring together some of the best leading minds with experience working across mega infrastructure projects.

“Collectively, we bring insights from working across many mega infrastructure transactions including Inland Rail PPP, Sydney Metro, North East Link, TransGrid Energy Connect, WestConnex, the Level Crossing Removal Program, and Pacific Highway Upgrades. We’re thrilled to provide this rich experience to ARTC and the Inland Rail program,” McDowall said.
